A Time of Suffering

As the clock ticks down to the fateful day of reckoning that faces Israel, and the world in regards to the uprooting of thousands of Jewish residents in their biblical homeland of Gaza, and the northern Shomron, Jerusalem becomes more in focus as the next target of worldwide aspirations.

"We say to the entire world: Today Gaza, tomorrow Jerusalem. Today Gaza, and tomorrow the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital."

These are the words of Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei Wednesday while addressing PA forces in the Gaza Strip. He also announced to the press that Israels withdrawal must be followed by the same action in the west bank (biblically known as Judea and Samaria) and East Jerusalem.

This announcement is certainly nothing new and was Yassir Arafat's mantra with Mahmoud Abbas and Qurie at his side throughout his reign of terror. This is also not unknown to the U.S., the Quartet, the E.U., the U.N., the Pope, or any of the other world players who are lining themselves up against Israel, and setting their sites on Jerusalem. The U.N. has publicly stated often that Jerusalem is an international city, and the previous Pope for years had his desires set on obtaining Jerusalem as a Vatican administered Holy Site. This Pope certainly has the same design on God's throne.

I was contemplating Bill Koenig's book Eye to Eye today in which he demonstrates an unnerving connection of U.S. catastrophes with political decisions that press Israel to give up land for peace, and I was reminded of the scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. " I have been thinking of this verse in relation to the coming disengagement and the fact that there may be a catastrophic price to pay, both in Israel and the U.S., then I realized to some extent this scripture is already being fulfilled in the fact that every time a decision is made against the covenant promise of God to Israel regarding their inheritance, sudden destruction has been unleashed on the U.S. who has been behind the decision. In light of this continual process of warning, there is coming a day when like Pharaoh, the opportunity to turn back from your rejection of God's warnings comes to an end, and certain destruction finally is realized. As I was thinking about this, a feeling of confirmation came to me that the U.S. will indeed suffer the nuclear terrorism that is being discussed in various circles recently. God will not be mocked, and the U.S. will not escape the sudden destruction that is to come.

Neither will the world escape, but I believe it will come in stages, and today the U.S. is the driving force behind the current move to divide Israel. The rest of the world however will not heed the warning that will be brought in the destruction of America, and they will continue to fight God with a fury over Jerusalem.

One of the high hills to the south of Jerusalem is known as "The Mount of Evil Counsel" it is notorias for many reasons, one of which is that Caiphas owned a house here in which the pharisees held their first meeting to take counsel against Jesus and is where he "prophesied that Jesus should die for the nation" (John 11). David fought the Philistines here, and history records that virtually every time an enemy sought to lay siege against Jerusalem they formed their battle plans from atop this hill. Today, the United Nations has its Jerusalem headquarters housed on top of the Mount of Evil Counsel. Every nation of the world is represented by this confederation, and is in the process of fulfilling the scripture in Zecariah 12:2-3 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

Jerusalem is about to become the burdensome stone that will crush all of the enemies of God. The Lord is about to stand up in His city Jerusalem, and the world is going to be humbled before our Mighty King. This will not come to pass in a single day however, and represents a time of great struggle and suffering, both in Jerusalem itself, and the world as a whole.

I believe that the disengagement that is being pushed upon Israel at the time of this writing will prove to be the catalyst for the destruction of America, who will have come to the end of their time of grace in God's eyes. I do not say this with joy, but with a deep sorrow, and tears. I am frustrated at my inability to wake up America, to reach the unsaved with this message, but even more so the slumbering church that has fallen into a doctrine of wealth and prosperity, and having their ears tickled to the point of laughing themselves into a false sense of security.

A Christian minister I greatly respect gave me a word this summer while visiting Jerusalem that the Lord had laid a heavy message upon their heart that the people of Israel were about to undergo tremendous suffering. I believe this to be absolutely true. We are facing the outbreak of a war to eclipse anything Israel has had to face before, and it is going to be foisted upon us by apostate Jewish leaders who have sold their soul to the New World Order. I consider them to be Edomites, Jews who like Esau have despised their birthright, those who call themselves Jews but are of the synagogue of Satan.

The world is about to tremble. God is starting the shaking in which He promised that He would shake everything that can be shaken so that only that which cannot be shaken will remain. This week I saw two well-known people in ministry removed from their positions because of sin, and I believe that this is only the beginning of what will be a domino effect. It is terribly sad for them, but more so for Lord whose Holy name is drug through the mud. He is restoring His land and His people for the sake of His Holy Name and make no mistake about it, we who call ourselves by His name had better get our houses in order because we will not survive if we don't. Now is the day of repentance for tomorrow may well be too late.

I have said this before, but it bears worth repeating, Yeshua (Jesus) will not return until the Jews cry out for Him and say "Baruch HaBa B'Shem Adonai" Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. The KEY to hastening the coming of the Lord and to put an end to all of the suffering about to take place is to pray for the salvation of the Jewish people. This is THE most important responsibility of the church worldwide today, and yet I don't think almost any of them know it, or are concerned with it. The coming of Yeshua IS the peace of Jerusalem, and we are commanded to pray for it. Won't you please make it a point of daily prayer and intercession? Won't you take the message to your church and bible study groups, and prayer groups?

The nations of the world are about to be judged. Israel is about to be saved. Which side do you want to be on?
